"…care about the things that YOU care about, Lord – the people, the situations; that the importance that YOU place upon them would be the importance that I place upon them. I want my mind & my heart to be so pure (to be pleasing in YOUR sight) – to have the "mind of Christ" (Phil 2:5), that YOUR attitude would be my attitude.
God, please help me to deeply love people, especially those whom YOU’VE placed in my inner circle – may I not only love them passionately but invest in their lives, the way that YOU’VE placed others in my life who have invested in me. May I be the leader that YOU desire me to be. May my priorities not just be "good" priorities – I pray that they would be "GOD" priorities. Lord, make me Holy (1Pet 1:15) because it’s the standard that YOU expect from me. Open my eyes that I don’t confuse my desire to be holy for YOU as a mandate to be self-righteous toward others.
Dad, help me to care more about those who don’t know YOU – show me those that YOU’VE opened the door for me to influence positively toward YOU (Give me eyes 2 see what YOU see). May my passion to see them rescued by YOU be white hot! Burn in me, Dad, that others may see that flame at work through me. You’ve released me to do for YOU, thus I believe – Help me to do the same toward others – In the powerful Name of JESUS. amen."
